In Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE. A surgeon extracts hair grafts with a narrow bur tool. This procedure doesn’t have drawbacks like FUT. • Larger punches used in the ARTAS system create larger wounds and scars. Healing complications may also occur. Larger punches can also damage adjacent follicles .
