Sunscreen: Not able to go outside due to lockdown in your city & thinking to avoid sunscreen during this period. Nothing replaces sunscreen usage. Not even staying indoors. As most of us working from home in this period. UV light is emitted from various sources such as mobile. Computer screens, TV. LED light. Sunlight is reflected from the walls of the house also affects us. Our dermatologist suggests using sunscreen with SPF 30. And above & Apply generous amount every 3 hourly.

Moisturizer: Moisturizer is most important during this lock down period as we are frequently using Hand sanitizer or washing hands with soap. Skin gets dried due to this so our dermatologist. Recommends applying moisturizer twice a day. To repair the skin barrier over damp skin. It provides nourishment to the skin & Repairs the skin barrier.

Cleansers: Cleansers helps gently remove the dirt from the face. You don’t need to use face wash after the use of a cleanser.

Toner: By using a toner, you can close the skin pores and prevent acne. Toner is an alcohol-based liquid, it helps in removing excess oil. Toner is especially useful in oil, acne-prone skin.

Serum: Serum can be applied to your skin after cleansing but before moisturizing.  With the intent of delivering powerful ingredients directly into the skin. It hydrates a deeper layer of the skin.

Soap: Soap is designed to remove dirt, sweat sebum, and oils from the skin. You can use milk-based soap for dry skin & Glycerine-based for a mixed type of skin. Avoid medicated soaps containing neem or antifungal agents.  Always avoid strong fragrant soaps as your skin might be allergic to them.

Night cream: Night creams are generally heavy in nature vis-a-vis day creams. In the night cream, anti-oxidants & vitamins become the primary elements of it.

Depending upon requirements you can select night cream:
For Pigmentation: AHA-based cream.

For Anti-Aging: Vitamin C & Retinoid based cream.

For hydration: Hyaluronic acid-based cream.
